What is Project Sunflower?

The purpose and scope of Project Sunflower is to assist and advise the Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations (AFUO) on mechanisms to bring to justice perpetrators of atrocity and crimes committed in the course of the invasion of Ukraine by  the Russian Federation and to assist the AFUO gather information from people in Australia who have been impacted by or have relevant information that may assist applicable authorities investigate or prosecute such crimes.

What information are we seeking?

We are seeking information that can help us identify key persons in Australia who have valuable information that may assist in the investigation or prosecution of crimes committed in Ukraine in the course of the invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation.

Who are we wanting to hear from?

We want to hear from those currently in Australia who have personally been impacted by or witnessed or experienced the atrocities and crimes committed in Ukraine during the invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation.

Why are we seeking such information and what will we do with it?

We are seeking such information with the aim of assisting the AFUO and the relevant authorities (whether on a national, regional or international level) in bringing the perpetrators of such crimes to justice.
